This is worth stating plainly on a page like this one, because searches for “pressure washing” pull in half a dozen trades that are not ours — and in Travelers Rest we see more of that confusion than anywhere else we work.
We clean exterior surfaces. House siding by soft wash, roofs by chemical treatment, driveways, patios, walkways and other concrete, decks and fences, and gutter faces. Commercial storefronts, sidewalks and HOA common areas on the same basis.
We do not paint, stain or seal. We will clean and prepare a deck so it is ready for stain, but somebody else applies it, and we do not seal concrete or pavers. We are not plumbers either, so drain cleaning, hydro jetting and water filtration are a different trade however similar the equipment sounds. And we do not clean interiors — no floors, no carpets, no hardwood. If you need one of those we would rather say so now than at the kerb.
Pressure washing, power washing, soft washing
Pressure washing and power washing are near enough the same thing; power washing just means the water is heated. Pressure cleaning is a third name for it. The method that genuinely differs is soft washing, which runs at garden-hose pressure and lets a cleaning solution do the work.
Which one a surface needs is not a matter of preference. Vinyl and Hardie siding want soft washing — pressure forces water up under the laps and behind the boards. Roofs want no pressure at all, because the black streaking is algae and pressure takes the shingle granules with it. Do you come all the way up to Travelers Rest?
Yes — TR is a regular stop on our routes, along with the homes up Highway 25 and around the Furman side of town. Being at the end of the Swamp Rabbit Trail does not put you at the end of our service area.
Our house backs up to woods near Paris Mountain. Moss keeps coming back on the roof and walkway. Can you fix that?
We can remove it completely and slow it down substantially. Moss loves the extra shade and moisture on the mountain side of the county. Roofs get a no-pressure soft-wash treatment that kills moss at the root; walkways get surface-cleaned and can be treated to delay regrowth. Expect a longer clean cycle, not a permanent one — that is the honest answer anywhere this green.
Do you clean fences and decks stained by red clay and trail dust?

Does Travelers Rest need washing more often?
Generally yes. More rainfall, more shade and cooler damp air mean growth establishes faster here than on flatter ground south of the city.

Do you cover the Cliffs communities?
Yes. Larger homes there usually need reach equipment for upper elevations, which is included rather than an extra.
Do you go as far north as Tigerville?
Yes, and there is no distance surcharge. Larger parcels up there often have outbuildings worth doing on the same visit.
Can you clean a screened porch?
The structure and surrounds, yes. Screens themselves get rinsed rather than scrubbed, and we will tell you honestly what that will and will not achieve.
When should I book?
Late April into May once pollen has finished, for house and concrete. Deck work is worth doing whenever the mildew shows, which up here is often sooner.
